The Indians are after him and Redknapp for their super league thing according to The Sun

The directors keep saying that it will be rerviewed after the season has ended. Yet 2 years ago they negotiated and signed in - "Allardyce renewed his contract at West Ham on 11 May 2013 by signing a new two-year deal, scheduled to run until the end of the 2014–15 season."

Our last game that season was 19 May when Kevin Nolan scored a hat trick against Reading and we finished 10th on 46 points...

It's only cost some £50m in signings so SA has made magnificent progress in the last 2 years of his contract indeed...

Sam Allardyce has denied claims he has opened talks over a new contract at West Ham.

Allardyce's current deal as manager expires at the end of the season and there has been frenzied speculation in the press linking several of Europe's biggest names - including Rafa Benitez and Jurgen Klopp - with the role.

But although Allardyce has refuted stories of talks, he insists he is preparing for next season as normal.

Re: Moose with the bad news
Doesnt matter. If they decide not to offer a new contract feelings are not important. Ensuring you're making the right decision does. If they dither they might lose Sam AND all the top targets leaving them in the shit.
This is purely and simply a business decision for both parties.

Fair enough Sidney, 'amicably' then.

Doesn't need to be mutual consent, he doesn't need to consent to his contract not being renewed.

If the club don't announce that BFFS is history before the renewal deadline then we can assume he is staying.

I hope and assume that they will wait until a few days after the end of the season, give BFFS thanks for his services and state that the club is moving into a new era with a new manager.

Much as I hate him, he has largely fullfilled his brief... mutual consent at the end of the season with everyone able to go their own way amicably is how it should be done.

Do you think there's a chance he might be fibbing so as not to create unnecessary media attention?

Re: Moose with the bad news
Birmingham fans are cunts if they blame G&S for selling to a crooked Chinaman. £81.5m on the table and the fans expect G&S to check out a Chinaman's credentials?

Would that critical fan have done it any differently? Would he fuck! He'd have taken the money and ran same as them. Some fans really are stupid. And they are allowed to vote...

Gold is getting flak on Twitter.Started yesterday over Moose's rumour, and also Gold's backing walrus over the 'injuries excuse' at QPR. Both of them conveniently forget QPR also had five players on the injury list.
After a Birmingham fan tweeted this morning that S and G had sold their club to a'chinaman' without proper due diligence, Gold is getting all uppity with his critics, saying if a majority of fans want them out- "be careful what you wish for".

Looks like Gold at least is still in the Allardyce camp!

Re: Moose with the bad news
We are all trying to second guess the directors. They are trying to be principled because they made their millions from dabbling in the porn industry and want to be respectable. Plus, like a lot of self-made millionaires, they hate spending money on compensation.

Two years ago they renewed SA's contract once we were safe. That was before the end of the season iirc. We have been safe for months but the team have played like losers. The manager has acted like a loser. G&S are not losers.

There is no way our owners are giving SA a new contract imho...

In the interest of consumer fairness it does.

Who wants to spend a grand watching football where the moment you score the entire team retreats to the edge of the penalty box.

Given the weight of feeling and a run of form that would see most managers of established prem clubs sacked a decision has to be made on his future before the renewal date.

They didn't sack him during a relegation battle last season and we are now mid table.
